Spitzkoppe - Hiking/Climbing

We took an, according to the locals, easy hike 'easy hike' to one of the peaks of Spitzkoppe. The view from the top is priceless and the view during the ascent and descent is unforgettable. This easy hike can only be done with a guide, as it is located in a nature reserve and the trail is difficult to find. In Switzerland, this trail would probably be considered a via ferrata instead of a mountain hiking trail and certainly not an easy one. Instead of the indicated 2 hours in total, we only returned to our starting point after about 4 hours, which was not due to our fitness or the guide, but because time is calculated differently here in Africa than in Europe. During the ascent, we were able to not only enjoy the view, but also get to know the plant world better and observe various birds and even dassies.
