The arrival

Today after work, we finally got going! At 4:01 p.m. the train left via Stuttgart to Donaueschingen. After changing trains twice, I arrived in Donaueschingen on time at 7:35 p.m. Check-in at the campsite was only open until 8 p.m., so I had to hurry a bit. Unfortunately, the restaurant at the campsite was closed, so I had rice and egg from the camping stove. After showering, I sat outside for a while; the temperatures were very mild. Two Dutch women who wanted to go on a tour of the Black Forest were cooking next to me. On the first day, they realized that 22 kg per person was a bit too much luggage.

Tomorrow we'll start the first stage! I'm looking forward to it :)
