It rained all night and continued to rain on the camper's roof in the morning 😐 somehow we woke up very early and set off after coffee. We actually wanted to visit the Revelstoke Dam, but unfortunately we were there too early. The nice gentleman at the entrance told us that it only opens at 10am, but we didn't want to wait that long. When he heard where we were going, he gave us a few tips and we set off.
We drove almost the whole way and arrived in Penticton. The campsite was nice and located right across from Skaha Lake beach. It's just a shame that the promised WiFi didn't work at all 😐
.
After a short break, we walked to the center because we wanted to get an overview of bike rental. It was hot and we had covered quite a distance with 7km. Once we knew how and where to rent bikes, we visited a brewery and fortified ourselves with beer and food. But on the way back, we took a taxi 😀
Distance traveled: 296km
Conclusion: from rain to heat
