The journey takes us back to the sea, to the almost starting point of the famous Great Ocean Road, namely to Port Fairy. It was only about 160 km to cover. So there was time for a short detour to the 'Towerhill Wildlife Reserve' nearby. And indeed, after the first curve, we already discovered a wild koala on a eucalyptus tree. Cute. A few emus are also roaming around.
Port Fairy is a small town with a harbor, several restaurants, apparently many tourists in high season, and brilliant houses right on the dune. We are allowed to stay in one of them ('Lagoons Bay').
