Orio

Publié: 10.09.2022

Now I finally made it to Spain - and I'm blissful because the Basque coastal landscape is simply a dream. Park4night led me to a campsite on the outskirts of the village of Orio and after just a few hours, I extended my booking from one day to three nights. The bay, the surroundings, the campsite, and ultimately my nice neighbors Ralph and his son Kevin from Nottingham made me feel extremely comfortable here. Cycling, running, hiking - everything is perfectly possible here. Swimming, on the other hand, is not so much because the waves here crash very strongly into the bay - a dream for surfers, a challenge for those who want to take a dip. Today, I jogged a little bit on the Camino de Santiago towards Santiago de Compostela, but unfortunately had to stop and turn back early because I've been overexerting my knee since Arcachon and now really have to rest. Very unfortunate!
