After a restful night with pleasant temperatures, we wake up at 7 a.m. The weather is fantastic, blue skies and not a cloud in sight. Today it is also clear what we are planning. The first program: to the beach!
A hearty breakfast and off we go. There's a lot going on at the beach, and many people are probably taking advantage of the Thursday holiday this week for a holiday by the sea.
Now the tide is low on the beach and it's a long way to the water. And it's cold too - unbelievable. But the sun is already shining and by the evening my back will be nice and red. At least the mafia hat I bought yesterday will save me from sunstroke.
Now the tide, several centimeters high, begins and the world's largest mussel search begins. We discover many crabs and also pissing sea cucumbers.
At lunchtime we do what the Italians do and retreat to the apartment for a snack and a short rest. This means that the four of us (excluding Bettina) can head back to the beach and storm the sea at 4.
In the evening there is a wonderful shower and an equally wonderful Jamie Oliver salad. The children are really tired today and are ready for bed at 9. I wake up again at 11:08 p.m. and type up the daily report in the warm summer night.
It's wonderful that the cornering light can be seen in action in the double S-curve on the other side of the harbor. And another aspect is that it is activated not only by turning the steering wheel but also by using the direction indicator.
Cheers, I end yesterday at 00:25.
