With a heavy heart, I had to start my journey back to Germany today.
Fortunately, Jessi accompanied me on the train from Fano to Bologna.
From there, I took the night train to Salzburg.
In Bologna, there was a heatwave and I couldn't check in my backpack. So we had to walk through the city with our backpacks at 38 °C. However, good food and drinks made it more bearable.
The night train only departed at 11 p.m., so I eagerly waited at the station.
When it finally started, I was naturally very excited. Luckily, I only shared the sleeping compartment with one other person. Mateo from Pisa was with me. For my part, I find sleeping on a train very calming and enjoyable.
