High Sierra Trail Day 6

At 4:45, I crawled out of my tent with my sleeping bag. It wasn't clear when the sky would transition from dark to light. It finally happened around 5:30. The first hikers who started in the middle of the night were already there. I couldn't believe it! How amazing! The sunrise was equally incredible, especially the first light. After that, it was time to pack up and safely descend. I noticed a scratch on my glasses from my overly enthusiastic jump earlier before sunset. Well, I made it to the Outpost camp spot around 2 o'clock, and I was in bed by 4. Just lying down!
