We currently don't have much to report.
The beach scenes are forgotten.
The garbage remains in mind.
Whether Lombok or Bali.
The locals are aware of their heritage, but not enough is being done about it yet.
Out of 200 people, only one takes the available metal bucket and collects a little trash. Unfortunately, it's just a drop in the bucket.
Various environmental and collection projects are running in cooperation with the government of both islands. As we have seen in the last few days, unfortunately still not enough.
One example from Lombok - for 1 kg of collected plastic, you get 2,500 Indonesian Rupiah. Sounds like a lot, but it's only about 16 cents - sad!!
Currently, there is only one collection point for all the waste on the entire island. And it is completely overwhelmed because there is not enough personnel.
Of course, given the price.
