10 days from east to west. It took 5400 kilometers and almost all provinces of Canada until we reached our first major destination, Jasper National Park. In Jasper National Park, we spent almost a week on a natural campsite in the middle of the wilderness. To avoid losing too much time, we went on a few hikes and took part in a guided wildlife tour on the second evening. Luckily for us, the wilderness was very kind to us that evening and showed us some of Canada's most famous animals. Eagles, deer, elk, coyotes, and the dreaded black and grizzly bears. Fortunately, we didn't have to use our bear sprays yet ;)
After Jasper National Park, we took a short detour to Baff National Park and then continued westward. Originally, we planned to work on an organic farm near Canada from August 01 to August 14, but unfortunately, we received the news that they currently have a forest fire and we cannot come. Now there is a change of plan: off to Alaska!
On the way there, we were surprised to find that Canada has a desert, which is also the hottest region in Canada.
Now we continue north.
