In the morning I wasn't sure: should I leave Bodø already or rather spend the day here? I didn't feel all that fit. Funny. After breakfast, however, things got better again and I packed after all.
The journey was characterized by closed, side roads (construction sites) unknown to the navigation system. Coastal road 17 ended in Bodø and the only way I can really get ahead is via European route E6. There were also some heavy downpours from midday onwards. Luckily I had seen the weather coming and quickly put on my rain gear. Nevertheless, every tunnel was welcome to me today ;o)
The museum farm Kjelvika was on the route. However, the high season is over here now. The closing times make that clear. Unfortunately, this farm had only until 18.8. To welcome Visitors.
In the absence of good opportunities for rest and walks, I arrived early at a campsite cabin in Hamarøy Municipality and was greeted with bright sunshine. So now all the accessories are dry again and I watched a beautiful sunset from the cottage by the fjord.
