The city enchanted me because it is so artistic and colorful. On the streets, you can find great street art, street musicians, dance classes, and much more.
I have created a list of my favorite places, cafes, and restaurants where we can soon make ourselves comfortable :)
Ascensor Reína Victoria
Today, there are 15 ascensores in Valparaiso that lead up to the cerros (hills). Some of the cable cars are still in operation.
Cerro Alegre
Cerro Alegre is my absolute favorite place. Here, I can wander through the streets for hours.
La Sebastiana
La Sebastiana, the former house of the writer and poet Pablo Neruda, is located 1 km above Ascensor Espírito Santo. The view and the house itself are quite enchanting. As an alternative to the ascensor, you can also walk up to the Museo a Cielo Abierto, which showcases murals by various Chilean artists.
