We are in Marina Wendtorf near Laboe. The day was... let's say exhausting. It started with us not being able to hoist the mainsail when leaving Damp. When we finally got going, we realized that the wind and waves on the Baltic Sea were much stronger than advertised.
For several hours, we were bouncing on the water like a cork, which was exhausting in itself. In the Kiel Bay, there was a lot of traffic and we had to cross multiple times. Then, we had a little accident with a big wave, including a bruise. At that point, we had no choice but to spontaneously head to Wendtorf harbor.
In the end, the foresail tore again. Fortunately, we still have some Fix Tape (otherwise, we would need a new foresail, which would be too big).
All in all, the day didn't go so well and we actually didn't cover enough distance. But that's how it goes - wind and weather dictate life on board.
Now, we are using the time here in Wendtorf for various repairs and a short walk on the beach.
