The storm came faster than expected and unfortunately kept us in Hesnaes for another day. That's why we didn't continue our journey until this morning. Since there is still a lot of wind forecasted for today, we played it safe and started at 6am(!). Vacation looks different for a late riser like me....
But now we are in Klintholm, the last Danish harbor before heading to Sweden on Wednesday. We quite like the harbor, it's a large area with typical Danish red houses between the sailboats. However, the harbor is very popular and quite crowded, so we were lucky to get a spot. In return, we have everything we need here, including a supermarket, ice cream parlor, restaurants, and hopefully a washing machine, which I urgently need now.
Unfortunately, we still don't have a Danish flag and we only found paper flags at the supermarket. So I had to improvise and do a little crafting.
Before the long crossing to Sweden, we absolutely need to deal with the mainsail. We are still hoping to somehow repair it. The foresail alone slows us down quite a bit.
