So, dear ones, the journey started today. Got up at 1:30, drove to the airport and then the flight left at 6:00. I landed in Lima at 11:00 p.m. our time. Not much can be said today. It was just a day in the airport and on the plane.
But what actually struck me was that I was calm personified. Things that would otherwise have made me jump out of my suit left me cold. Something like jostling passengers, unfriendly staff or endless waiting times for departures. Simply deeply relaxed. The flight time was really limitless. You couldn't watch so many films. I then nodded away every now and then. I hope I didn't snore. The flight was quite pleasant. When I arrived in Lima, I was of course followed by a taxi driver again. That was really funny, I left the airport and knew they were waiting there. Those who want to take your money. What can I say, the first one got in touch. Just across from me was an extremely serious police officer. I look at him and shake my head ever so slightly. Sort of...that's not the right thing. And he shakes his head ever so slightly and looks to the left with his eyes without turning his head even an inch. Like... I should look back there. :) I did that too, but I didn't get that far. Someone caught me right around the corner. He then drove me to the accommodation for a lot of money. I actually knew better, but unfortunately I was so tired that I let myself be persuaded. I booked the accommodation through Airbnb.... Superhorst of course... Should be very close to the airport because it continues tomorrow. What I didn't know was that I chose the most dangerous part of town. My overpriced taxi driver told me straight away. But the room is nice and clean and so is the bathroom. The people are very friendly and helpful. Then Ms. Ines doesn't go out anymore and goes straight to bed :)). I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. Oh well... Addendum. As you can see in the pictures, I am not traveling alone. May I introduce Peter and Olaf. As my gym buddy would say.... you got a smack on your ass. That's right then, I'm a self-confessed gossip carrier. :)
