Yesterday was a transfer day. On Sunday morning, I went through the empty streets to the Adelaide airport. A two-hour flight to Sydney and then a bus ride to the Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains, where I arrived in the evening.
Today was a day of hiking. After a short drive, I went on the Wentworth Falls walking track. The path followed the edge of the Valley of Water, from where I had an overwhelming view. After the hike, I visited the Everglades Gardens, where this year, for the second time, the blooming spring beauty impressed me. The conclusion of my hiking activities was the Fairfax Heritage Track, which offered an overwhelming view of the Grose Valley at the lookout points.
