Today we rode the last stretch of the Baltic Sea Cycle Path. It ends at the German-Polish border near Swinoujscie. It was about 30 km from Zempin. And Usedom is incredibly hilly, we knew that from the last time four years ago. That meant some serious work and even some pushing when it was impossible to cycle. Overall, there were a lot fewer people compared to four years ago, but back then we were there in mid-August and it was much hotter. At the border, the odometer showed exactly 1177.77 km. We then rode a short distance into Swinoujscie. It was pure tourism there too. Afterwards, we made our way to Anklam, our destination for today. It was mostly sunny in the morning, but in the afternoon it became extremely humid. Add to that the wind mostly coming from the front or the side. We were relieved when we arrived in Anklam. Now we have 2 days left until we have to be in Berlin. We will discuss how to fill those tonight.
