Contrisson

The plan is to travel to Pargny-sur-Saulx, the first locks were okay, or rather the first lock. We left the Belgian behind, but at the second lock we had a disaster. Immediately after the lock, the new bridge was installed, presumably the guys on the construction site had tried to bring the technology far enough overnight so that the ship traffic could run undisturbed the next day. But as it goes, having a deadline is one thing and vacationers have time, as is well known.

Since we had several ships behind us afterwards, our yellow angel made it clear that it was now necessary to pass the locks in pairs.

We had set ourselves the limit that we would moor no later than 4:00 pm, but we ultimately did not reach our destination and stranded in Contrisson next to an Arcellor Mittal steelworks.
