Autumn hiking on Muottas Muragl

In autumn 2017, we visited the Upper Engadine for five days. We stayed at the Hotel Laudinella in St. Moritz-Bad. With the free cable car inclusive card, we explored the surroundings. On the first day, we took the historic funicular from Punt Muragl to Muottas Muragl. From there, we hiked for about 2.5 hours on the well-maintained panoramic trail to Alp Languard. After a short rest with a magnificent view of the glaciers, we wanted to go back down to the valley. We took the slightly bumpy chairlift down to Pontresina. Thanks to the guest card, which also includes free use of public transport, we took the local bus back to our starting point, the Punt Muragl valley station. We have fond memories of our autumn hike with magnificent views.
