Above the clouds

Tomorrow is the day. The backpacks are packed and seem almost impatient as they stand there. Maybe one is feeling that way too. So it's time to get started.

In the past few weeks, emergency numbers have been distributed, loved ones have been bid farewell, the functional jacket has been washed, and the mail forwarding order has been set up. The mosquito spray and sunscreen are well packed, the last sauerkraut along with onion cake and new wine are eaten. So it's time to say goodbye to Berlin.

The plane takes off tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock in Berlin, only to land shortly afterwards in Munich. From there, after changing planes, we will continue to Singapore, where we will then transfer to a plane to Bali-Denpasar.

From there, I will be reporting back with seawater around my feet.
