This time we continued by bus to Cienfuegos. Actually a very industrial city, with numerous sugar factories, and the largest sugar export port in the world, Cienfuegos has a few very nice magnificent buildings and was founded by French settlers, which is particularly reflected in the architecture. Due to lack of time, Cienfuegos seems to be only a short stopover for most tourists, if at all, and is far less visited than some other places in Cuba. The great thing about our way of traveling is that we can give each place an unbiased chance and thus get to know both the beautiful and the unpleasant sides. Despite previous opinions, we liked this place so much that we stayed a little longer here again, which, among other things, was also due to our great hosts, Aday & Orlando! A very very nice couple, with a noticeably intact sex life 😉 and a preference for German football! Additionally, thanks to Aday's culinary skills, we lived like royalty.
