06.-09.02.2017: Newcastle

The last stop before Sydney was Newcastle. After a late arrival, we walked along the coast to a natural pool the next day. After a short sunbath, we continued walking along the coast. We used the afternoon for shopping before going to the pub in the evening for a free sausage sizzle and pub games.

The next day, we walked along the entire promenade over the Memorial Walk, which commemorates the soldiers in World War I. After that, we visited the fort and the lighthouse (which couldn't be easier to see). Finally, we visited the cathedral.
