San Francisco was totally different than we expected. Everything around the city center was really nice, just like you imagine San Francisco. It was a rollercoaster ride, beautiful houses, and a great atmosphere. But the downtown area was anything but nice, and our hotel was right in the middle of it. No matter which street you walked, it was teeming with homeless people and gang members. They were even sitting right in front of the entrances to the expensive stores on the luxurious street. Every time we left, we were really glad to get out of there because everything around it was really nice. Unfortunately, that won't be remembered so nicely because the memories are always tainted by the downtown area.
The Golden Gate Bridge was really impressive! It's really as huge as you always imagine it to be. I also really liked Fishermans Wharf. It was really nice to walk around there and just relax.
(Unfortunately, I don't have any more pictures since they're already in Germany)
