Canadian life has grabbed me and I'm enjoying it as much as possible :) The language school put me in the Pre-Advanced C1 class - it couldn't have been better. The class consists of almost all nations: South Korea, Spain, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany - we're having a lot of fun!! After a long day at school on Monday, I was rewarded with a burger from my host family *delicious*
This afternoon, right after school, I went to Kitsilano Beach Pool and swam my laps as usual. Well, I thought it was the usual 2.4km... But from the beginning it seemed strange to me that it took so long:D In the end, it was 3.4km :D because the lane is 130m long :O :O
But then I treated myself to two little chocolate bombs at Rocky Mountain Chocolate :)
This morning, I went running and ran to our park Cleveland Dam. Actually, I just wanted to take a photo at the viewpoint, the entrance of the park. But it turned out differently.
Suddenly, I heard a loud rustling in the bushes between the bushes and the fence. I saw two black ears poking out from between the leaves and I thought my heart stopped. We've talked so much about bears these days and how great it would be to see one, but honestly: No..., doesn't necessarily have to happen. At least not like this :O Preferably from the car or with a bear bell or someone who runs slower than me *haha*
So I ran backwards home as fast as I could without taking a photo and got scared at every little sound, OMG I don't need that every day.
