Campbell River

Today we drove towards Vancouver early in the morning. From Horshoe Bay we took the ferry over to Vancouver Island , an island off Vancouver that is about the size of Austria. We will spend the next few days in two different lodges before heading back to the mainland.

The lodge in Campbell River is in a fantastic location - a bit out of the way and right by the sea. From our balcony we have a great view of the water and the bay opposite.

After checking in, we drove to the Campbell River Docks to find out about possible timing changes to the grizzly tour that awaits us tomorrow. We also completed the last remaining formalities and had a leisurely meal on the way back to the lodge.
