07.09.2024 Clay Bank Top to Blakey Ridge

This was already our second to last day. It's somehow surreal how quickly time passes here. After being transferred back to Clay Bank Top this morning, we were greeted by slightly better visibility than yesterday. Only rubbish, no fog, at least for the majority of the route. Accordingly, we had a beautiful view of the largest heathland in the world. Very impressive! After a relatively relaxed 16 km with no major elevation gain, we stopped at the Lion Inn Pub, where we encountered a large number of sweet dogs again. England is so dog-friendly!
