The journey to the mountains

Also, the dismantling and stowing of all the stuff is getting better and we only need two more hours including breakfast and getting the kids ready for the trip. :-) The route took us for the first time away from the "Autopista del Mediterráneo", which already had its pitfalls, onto a "car-killing highway". I couldn't even count the traffic signs that hinted at inclines and declines of over 7 percent up to 10 km. The Seat was sweating on the inclines and I was sweating on the declines when the caravan pushed and the crosswinds came. More and more cars and buses stranded by the roadside didn't exactly improve the feeling, especially at over 40 degrees outside temperature. Why are there no cities here and the few human dwellings we saw were people in caves. Only 90 km to go to the destination and the feeling will be fine, the request from behind "toilet". And what luck, a "rest area" felt like the second one in 300 km. So we took the exit, got out into the heat and opened the door. And what a surprise, the place is packed, probably the only restaurant within a radius of 500 km :-). We were warmly welcomed and asked what we would like, so we showed what was on the grill. I refer to the pictures now :-), delicious, the first good meal in Spain, and in my opinion, all it takes is good products and then you can eat off paper tablecloths :-). So we continued and the last kilometers to the campsite were once again a challenge!
