Today we wanted to be rich and beautiful and see if we could meet the Geissens 😂. We chose Saint Tropez over Nice because the kids are not exactly excited about city tours 🤔. On the way there, we stopped in Port Grimaud and had a very delicious lunch for a low price of 16.50 EUR, and of course the Germans drink tap water instead of wine. :-). We went there via the beautiful coastal road D559 and back through the "mountains". St. Tropez is either for the rich or for people who like to see the toys of the rich, like cars, clothes, and yachts. Otherwise, there are certainly nicer places on the Côte d'Azur. To put it in the words of a real estate person, there has been a certain backlog of renovation since the 80s. So, to put it nicely, the heyday of the Côte d'Azur was in the times of Louis de Funes. 😂
