After I arrived I took a shower first. The albergue has two sides with over 60 beds, but is always divided into four areas. And right now there are no more than 20 people hiking. After the shower, I relaxed a little, planned my tour for the next day and then explored the area. At 7 p.m. I went to eat in a restaurant where they serve the Peregrino menu, which costs €12 with three courses and wine/water included. For our starters we could choose between vegetable soup or pasta and for the main course fish or pork. For dessert there was carrot cake and I had two pieces because one person didn't want his. Had dinner with a family from France. They have 2 children with them and a big dog and they do a week of the Camino de Santiago every year because of the time. We spoke in English because my French is almost non-existent despite 4 years at school. Understanding is possible, but speaking is not possible.
Afterwards we went to the pilgrim mass with a total of 8 people. It was nice and when we received the pilgrim blessing, the lights in the church would be turned off and singing would be sung. Was very impressive. And as a bonus, the priest did a little church tour. He explained to us that the church has many different influences. And the interior is a copy of the Notre Dame from Paris. And above the church altar a metal sheet made from Girona was copied. And finally we went into the crypt, where there were past paintings. An all-round successful evening. Relax a little and then go to bed. I have a long journey planned tomorrow, but I won't book anything in advance so that I can enjoy the time and if it's too long, I'll look for something along the way. In that sense: see you tomorrow
