Today was a peaceful day. Laura and Van slept until 10:30, missing out on the wonderful view from the roof.
Today we spent the day on the moped, just like we did in Bac-Lieu 4 years ago: me driving, Laura sitting in front, Van sitting in the back, and the shopping bags hanging on the left and right.
In Bac Lieu, where there were hardly any cars, I feel more comfortable riding the moped in traffic than driving a car in Bern or Zurich. Aggressive behavior is almost non-existent. Mutual consideration is all-encompassing. The speed is rarely above 30.
Here, there are a lot of cars, about 50% of the vehicles. It's a bit too much for me. The aggressiveness of the drivers has also increased somewhat. But it's still good. Especially since all the major roads in the small town have 6-8 lanes.
In the night, Laura always had to press the button for the high beam on our moped, otherwise we would have had no light.
We were looking for water shoes for me. I had forgotten mine at home. But it's difficult because my size doesn't exist. Temporary solution: a pair of size 43 slippers where we cut the strap over the instep. That way I can walk slowly and carefully through the sand (not barefoot, as it is filled with sharp shells)
