13.3. The first stop is the second visitor center in the park. Right in front of it, we see all the notable creatures of the Everglades in the wild. Countless alligators, turtles, diving cormorants, herons, etc... We take a short hike in the nearby swamp and then drive through the park on the Loop Road. We see alligators and birds over and over again and stop a few times. We don't find tonight's campsite right away and look for a brewery with internet. We find out that the camping address is probably correct and drive back. It's on a privately-owned property without a sign and running water, but there's nothing more affordable in the area up to Miami. The owner is friendly and there are a lot of cats on the property. We have dinner at the Mexican restaurant. We can practice some Spanish again for Panama.
