I only had an hour and a half left in Oslo for a fast-paced city tour. Through Karl Johans gate and past the cathedral to the royal palace, perched on a small hill. And then down to Radhusplassen, which opens up the view towards the Oslo Fjord. The town hall itself doesn't have to be considered beautiful. The quirky brick building with its imposing double towers had already made an impression on me when I looked at pictures. Before I make my way to the airport, where my flight to Vienna departs at 12:45, I want to write a postcard to a loved one.
I would like to thank all those who have virtually accompanied me through Norway in this series of pictures. Perhaps some of my contributions have inspired one or the other. Just as I am always happy to be inspired by beautiful travel pictures and reports from others.
Best regards and see you next time!
