Day at the beach

The end of our vacation is approaching quickly, so we tried to relax a little bit at the beach today. The weather was perfect for it: pure sunshine.

After a relaxed breakfast, we walked to Casey Key Beach in Nokomis.

Actually, it was the perfect day for sunbathing, although it was already very hot in the direct sun - much to Sascha's dismay... To cool off, we went for a swim in the sea every now and then, but we had to pay attention to which flag was raised by the Coast Guard. At Nokomis Beach, there are so-called "rip" currents that can carry a poor swimmer further out to sea.

In line with the day's program, we went out for dinner in the evening at "mi pueblo", a very delicious Mexican restaurant.
