01/01/2020 - Day 6 - Cape Town, South Africa

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!

After celebrating the new year with our friends at the oldest winery in the Cape region, '1692 Spier', we relaxed today with 'Braai' (South African barbecue), wine, beer, and plenty of gin and tonic here in Somerset West, and enjoyed the magnificent view from the house of our wonderful hosts Stefan and Ilona, whom we would like to thank very much for their great hospitality. We felt extremely comfortable. This was also due to Thomas, their friend, who spoiled us culinarily from time to time.

Tomorrow we will continue to the beautiful coastal town of Hermanus, where we will spend our last 4 days in South Africa 🇿🇦 before continuing our journey to Singapore 🇸🇬.
