Tag 49+50 Arkoudilas Beach- Halikounas Beach Korrison Sea

Today we drove to the next beach in the southwest of the island 🏝️. Endless long sandy beach. At the beginning, it was quite crowded, but it got progressively quieter towards the back. We found a nice spot in the nearby dune area. Today we had to let some air out of the tires because the sand was too deep. You know who enjoys that 😉. After a short time, there was a small thunderstorm with rain. Good for Rudi, he looked much better afterwards. Then I went for a little hike, first along the lake, then through a little forest, and then a large lonely dune area with a view of the beach. In the distance, I saw two populations of flamingos. In the evening, an unpleasant surprise. I was reading when I discovered mosquitoes on my Kindle. I looked up and it was terrible. They were everywhere, both on the outside and inside of the mosquito nets. But luckily, they were not mosquitoes, but something similar. So, the mass murder began. But just like wars, the action was just as pointless. There were many unnecessary stains that had to be wiped the next morning. They were just sitting there and didn't bother us at all.

Day 50

This morning there was a short rain, a few lightning strikes in the sky, and then the sun ☀️ was back again. We decided to stay for one more night. It's a beautiful place and tonight we'll close the windows as long as we need light 😉. Today, I felt like taking a walk on the beach. Everything is possible barefoot here.
