Google stress this morning. The animal thought it had to crow every 15 seconds. Around 7:30 I unpacked my red exercise mat outside, and he also wanted to get on my mat. Traveler stress, indeed. After that, we ran with a canister to a spring to refill our drinking water supply. Later, we filled the non-potable water from the river. Today, we drove through the mountains to the Ait Bougoumez Valley. It is an idyllic green valley with cereal fields, poplars, walnut, and fruit trees. The peaks are still covered in snow. It feels like going back in time by 100 years. The donkey is the main means of transportation, the fields are worked with a hoe and sickle, and the water is fetched from the village well. The old multi-story clay houses are the residence for humans and animals. Today, it was quite difficult to find a place to stay overnight. Houses or people everywhere. So we fled back up and hopefully won't freeze our butts off at 2400m.
