First of all, we went to the idyllic Agia Gallini. The parking situation at the port was already enough for us. You can imagine the rest. We had to get out of there as soon as possible. The beach of Triopetra, recommended by Jürgen, was number 36.

I explored the neighboring beaches up to Agios Pavlos. In this small resort village, you can admire very impressive rock formations. Here, the tectonic forces are impressively demonstrated, as hardly anywhere else. Formerly horizontally deposited layers in various colors have been intensely folded during mountain formation. Through weathering and erosion, as well as the different resistance of the rock layers, the harder layers have been exposed, forming impressive reliefs. Once again, a geological wonder.
