After a good night's sleep, we make our way to the nearby Doppelmayr cable car to the Nevis Range ski area. Here, the MTB downhillers can also descend on the local World Cup track...we take a hiking trail and enjoy the view of Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in Great Britain) and the surrounding lochs.
Afterwards, we continue our journey towards Oban (where there will be another attempt at dolphin watching tomorrow) and along the way, we find a tiny caravan park with only 6 pitches right by the water in Creagan. After some searching, we find the owner at work at the nearby train station (who needs a station out here in the middle of nowhere?), apparently, the man here in Creagan is responsible for everything, there's no one else around. However, he recommends the Creagan Inn for dinner at the next bend in the road, where we end this pleasant (Scottish-sunny) day with burgers and Tennent's beer.
