27th March Quito - Tena

Ralf and I wanted to see a bit more of the rainforest, so we decided to book a nice hotel in Tena and go on excursions into the jungle. Now, Jois has an uncle who lives in Tena and he was immediately willing to accommodate us, not only us, but also Jois and her parents. So we all drive together to the eastern side of the Andes down into the rainforest. Because of the heavy rain, the roads are in bad condition. We visit a small zoo. And in the evening, we enjoy the uncle's hot tub. Very, very nice
