26th March San Jose de Chaltura - Papallacta - Quito

After breakfast, we visit Maria Dolores Farm. She tells us that she wants to grow avocados. Part of the land is currently leased, but the contract is expiring. Now she wants to use the land herself. After that, we drive past Quito to Papallacta. In Papallacta, the hot springs are used for thermal baths. The bath we visit has different pools with water of varying temperatures. Very pleasant. Relaxing. The view extends to the green mountains, where cows also roam, at an altitude of 3000m.
