Playa Deal Carmen - Tulum

we have had some really exhausting weeks 😎 . We took the bus to Playa del Carmen and first went to the beautiful sandy beach to swim in the sea, our first strenuous activity. The next morning, we got up early to take the ferry to Cozumel Island. There, we booked a snorkeling tour for three hours. Snorkeling was absolutely a highlight, one dives into a different world. We visited three different reefs to see the fish, starfish, shells.... After the tour, we tested and approved the beach and cocktails on the island. Then we took a day trip to Cenote Azul, a very refreshing water hole in the jungle with crystal clear cool water, very refreshing in these temperatures.

After Playa, we took the bus back down to Tulum. Since we arrived in the afternoon, we immediately visited the ruins. The ruins are beautifully located on the coast right by the sea. Breathtaking. In the evening, we met Jules and Mena (also German), as they have the same route as us, we are now traveling together as a group of four and later as a group of five (Jules' girlfriend Sandi). In Tulum, we spent most of our time at the beach and in the turquoise sea. But we also went to Cenote Grande for cooling off. On another day, we went to Akumel to dive with turtles and we actually saw some.

Now we are on our way to Belize.
