🇻🇳 Ninh Binh

We reach Ninh Binh by bus on January 22, 2024. It's raining, it's gray, it's windy and we're freezing at less than ten degrees! Well, the weather report predicted it, but we still didn't expect such weather in Vietnam in January 🫠🫠 it even went so far that we bought down jackets in a shop in the middle of Ninh Binh 😂 we just wanted warm ones Asian temperatures packed and "only" rain jackets with me, but they don't keep out the cold. We pay the equivalent of €15 per jacket, brand: the North Face, of course made in Vietnam 😉 the jackets do their job. In general, there is a lot going on in clothing stores at the moment and the sellers are definitely making the sales of their lives. Because we certainly weren't the only ones who weren't prepared for such temperatures.

We explore the area in and around Ninh Binh on foot. It is so green and the landscape is an absolute feast for the palate. But unfortunately due to the weather we can't enjoy it 100%. So we skip the north of Vietnam, which is a shame even in hindsight, and we decide to travel further south soon.

Our next means of transport will be the train. We book two beds in a sleeping car and drive to Hue.
