We visited the Coves d'Artà.
The cave is well-known and a popular tourist destination. If you haven't already visited one of the other stalactite caves advertised in Mallorca, this one is definitely worth a visit.
The entrance is particularly impressive; it reminds you of the huge mouth of a whale. When you leave the cave towards the exit, you are rewarded with a magnificent view over the sea.
Afterwards we visited Canyamel, the seaside resort below the cave. As we drove past from the sea, the town is picturesquely situated in a small bay, apart from a few hotels, and tourism predominates locally. The bay has a very beautiful, well-kept beach.
On the way back we stopped off at the market square in Capdepera, which is highly recommended if you want to escape the tourist hustle and bustle of the coast. There are several restaurants to choose from, but everyone has to judge the quality for themselves.
