Day 30: Trip to Ayutthaya

The former capital of central Thailand was definitely a must on our to-do list for Thailand. Since it is only 2 hours north of Bangkok and can be easily and cheaply reached by train, we set off early in the morning.

Upon arriving in Ayutthaya, we rented two bicycles and started our tour in almost unbearable heat. I won't bore you with all the temple names, but we visited a total of 3 temples and saw many more from the outside as we rode by.

In the evening at 7:00 p.m., we returned to Bangkok at more pleasant temperatures.
