Day 29: Bangkok between culture and shopping

After yesterday's somewhat boring train travel day, we wanted to see a lot of Bangkok today. So we walked to a Hindu temple first. The difference to the previously seen Buddhist temples was clear. There were significantly more mythical creatures and everything seemed much more playful. After that, we took the Skytrain and the ferry to the Wat Arun temple. It stands out for its black and white color. This temple also differed specifically in its color from the other temples we have seen so far.

After that, we had enough of temples and started our shopping marathon. We rummaged through 5 different shopping centers, going from 'we can never afford this' to 'did we land in a warehouse?'. It was really fun. Exhausted, we went for a cozy Thai dinner in the evening.
