Mitten im Rennen

Another super sunny hot day awaits us, with a manageable Cross Country route away from the campsite. Unfortunately, the legs were heavier than expected and the buttocks were already sore... The uphill was much easier than yesterday. Few big stones and a pleasant incline made it manageable today. Near the top, two Patous were already waiting for us, mistaking us for wolves. We quickly got off the bike and slowly pushed it next to us. Once we were safely past them and cycled up the last few meters of altitude, a little refreshment awaited us. Then there was only one thing left to do: look forward to the downhill. Singletrail of the highest class. That put a big smile on our faces. When the last 200 meters of altitude arrived, we found ourselves surprisingly in the middle of a race. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to continue here, so we snaked past the race participants down the road, back to the campsite.
