Day 11 | 21.10.2016 Whatipu, Waitakere

In the morning, we explored the beach. Super beautiful but really windy, you can tell that it's still spring. The campground owner gave us fresh eggs and a lemon, and then around 1pm, we drove back up the jungle road, back to civilization.

First, back to the beach, enjoying the backpacker life to the fullest. We decided to go to Piha again because we liked it there so much with Ben and his girlfriend. A few hours of relaxing and then came the question: where do we sleep tonight? We opted for the free, not quite legal option and headed to a lookout point, where we stayed.

While the guys were cooking, I explored the area before it got dark. There was a small track nearby that led through the deep jungle, but after a while, the sea appeared. Simply breathtaking to stand alone about 300 meters above the sea on a cliff and look out to the horizon.
