Island hopping

One of the usual routes in T🦈land🇨🇷 is ours over the 3 islands ⛴Samui, Phangan and Koh Tao🐢 from Surathani to Chumphon and from here it goes on to the bustling metropolis Bangkok, the cheap hub 🛫 with 2 airports!

Phangan was the island with the most pleasant conditions for us. Several ferry stations and one of them is Thongsala, where the bp Resort is located, where we spent 7 days. Nearby is the Moonlight Cinema, which we found on the first evening and promptly visited on the 2nd, to watch or rather sleep through one of the worst movies (comedy with Will Ferrel & Richard Greeco from 21 Jump Street) one night at the rocksberry, as in Adrienne's case😉. On No boom boom is still pointed out in the opening credits of every film...😄

It's a fine atmosphere in the Moonlight Cinema and definitely recommended! On Phangan, a lot is in the sign of the moon🌒

This also includes the parties here Fullmoon(since 1988🤤), Blackmoon, Shivamoon as well as the Halfmoon Party we visited. Even the 'thousands' come here especially from Samui for this party!

🌒Which unfortunately is quite expensive compared to the fullmoon party, because minimum 1000bt 💸 (25€) go over the table for earlybird tickets plus neon paintings, drinks & souvenirs! But it's not as crowded as the Fullmoon, which takes place at Haad Rin beach.

A great beach and currently because it's off-season quite empty but also really good here.

Phangan is also good for hiking and offers some worthwhile destinations. e.g. the Phaeng Waterfall about 4.5 km away from Thongsala

In front of the waterfall, just like on Samui, there is always an elephant trekking station with one or more pitiful elephants! How do you deal with such facilities?

There, impressed standing in front of the 35-year-old animal and wondering, we meet Isabel&Marcel, also from the Berlin area, and since the 2 of them are there with a scooter, they have a little head start on us and we meet again at the top.

On the last days in Phangan we rent a scooter again to drive around the entire island again (only from beach to beach) and visit the floating bar in the evening and the sunset walk, the next morning we drive to Haad Rin again for breakfast at the Rock! Then we book the tickets to Koh Tao with Songserm for 350 bt p.P. at Taya's Place (Top Spot in Thongsala) when we return the scooter!  On Monday evening we pack...
