How to roadtrip with Franzi and Franzi

You want to go on a road trip with a camper? - No problem, here are the best tips and tricks from us:

1. Book a camper: Book a camper and have no idea how to pick it up.

2. Pick up the camper: If you have successfully mastered 1. and you are finally standing in front of your camper, let the lady from the camper rental convince you to give up the extra blanket, because 'it only takes up unnecessary space'. Ignore the alarm bells in you when she mentions that it might snow again in the coming weeks.

And trust completely that the description of the camper is accurate and there is actually space for a large AND a small suitcase.

Now that you find yourself in a relatively small camper, with 2 suitcases, 2 blankets, 2 pillows, a moldy coffee machine, and a frisbee (this is especially important with the wind in Iceland), you are in the right place.

3. First day in the camper: Lose your phone, search for it the rest of the day until late at night.

4. First night in the camper: Don't properly close the door and try not to freeze. If necessary, you can wear sweaters (multiple!), wool socks, and a hat.

5. You actually made it this far? Forget about the camper and treat yourself to a night at the probably most expensive hotel in Iceland - you only live once.

6. Finally, buy a nice hat. It is important not to convert the price into euros. So pay 60 euros for the hat.
