Four weeks have passed since we started our journey. We have seen and experienced a lot, eaten a lot of ice cream and pizza, bathed a lot, and enjoyed family time. The trip is good for all of us, and we are sad that we have to go back home in a few days.
We are spending the morning at the beach today. I go snorkeling and see all kinds of small and big fish. Around noon, Tobi goes diving. I take the children to Cres- Stadt, which is about 2 km away. It is a small town with a Venetian flair.
There are only a few people out in this heat. We walk along the harbor and soon turn into one of the many small alleys.
Marik has a lot of fun running through the narrow alleys. The city center is densely built and the houses are interconnected. He keeps discovering 'tunnels' to run through and gets excited about every cat we see.
We walk around and have a delicious, big ice cream with sprinkles.
We try some delicacies at the souvenir stands and buy island-style sage honey. After a while, we head back. It is still very hot, and we are relieved when we reach the caravan. We go shopping and eat the freshly bought melon.
Then we visit the few-week-old kittens of the campsite.
Tobi returns around 5:30 pm after a nice day of diving with great visibility.
We go to eat something and Marik meets a boy the same age. His name is Jannis. After dinner, they play together. They race each other, throw themselves in the sand, and slide until it's dark. Marik is so exhausted that he falls asleep immediately when we return to the caravan.
